A very warm welcome to Boda and thank you for your interest in medical acupuncture!
My small home practice is nestled in the rolling hills just 4 miles north of Carmarthen, in rural West Wales.
It’s a beautiful area, filled with history and folklore, and I’m very proud of the nature and heritage it is home to. Come see for yourself!
At the practice, I hope to offer a quiet corner of calm for you to receive your medical acupuncture therapy. I am a fully qualified medical doctor, GMC-registered, with ten years’ experience of medicine and twenty years’ experience of working for the NHS. I pride myself in my knowledge and professionalism, and I make every effort at Boda to provide you with comfort, safety, privacy, and dignity.
Medical acupuncture in a nutshell
Medical acupuncture is a form of therapy in which fine needles are inserted into specific points on the body. Western practitioners have developed this practice for effectively treating a range of pain-related conditions, from techniques used in traditional Chinese medicine. Western medical acupuncture makes diagnoses in conventional medical terms and uses needles to influence the body according to current scientific understanding.
